What is Mindfulness? How Does it Relate to Childbirth and Parenting.
In this first session we will explore what Mindfulness is, what it is’t, how it differs to meditation and how it can transform our experience.
Because this course is about childbirth and parenting we will also explore how mindfulness can alleviate the anxieties and discomforts of pregnancy, deepen your connection to your pregnant body and unborn child and transform the childbirth and parenting experience.
Alongside discussion, we will use movement to lift our energy and awaken our bodies and a range of meditations to gather and focus our awareness and develop our meditation/concentration practice.
Please bring a journal and pen to each session.
