Dynamic Hatha Yoga
My practice and teaching integrates movement, yoga philosophy and mindfulness teachings, somatic enquiry and breath awareness. The focus is on process over destination and honouring the bright intelligence of the body. I’m interested in the flow state, deepening self-awareness and discovering the interconnectedness of experience.
When we step onto the mat, we enter into the temple of our bodies, cleansing, nourishing and receiving the inner wisdom and guidance that arises in that open-minded open-hearted state of yoga.
My teaching style is fluid, full of enquiry designed to challenge you but not to overwhelm you. The Wednesday mornings class is suitable for advanced beginners and intermediates.
I am now also offering a second alternative class on Friday mornings for those at beginner level, wanting more instruction and guidance, or those wanting to deepen their practice and take it to the next level – both theoretically and experientially. . Yoga Fundamentals offers an opportunity to explore some of the principles that underlie asana practice and enable a deepening of the yoga experience.
