Hatha Yoga Drop In Classes
Nadia’s weekly candle-lit Hatha Flow class offers a full repertoire of held yoga postures, salutations, flowing sequences, inversions and seated postures to strengthen, stretch, expand and release the body. The approach is mindful with an emphasis placed on establishing presence and embodied awareness throughout the practice. Asana practice is followed by pranayama and meditation/relaxation to still the awakened energies and experience the settled mind. The level is Intermediate. Advanced Beginners are Welcome. Absolute Beginners are advised to join the course below.
Every four weeks Nadia teaches a Yin session.
Pregnancy Yoga Course (14-42 weeks)
Nadia’s pregnancy yoga classes combine flowing yoga sequences with plenty of guided mindful awareness to encourage students into the optimum yogic state. Classes are dynamic but accessible to everyone – irrespective of gestation and experience. There is plenty of instruction and individual support. Each session offers pranayama and meditation/relaxation to encourage the body to release ten-sions, the mind to become still and the mother to create a deeper connection with her growing baby. Priority is given to supporting the pregnancy on all levels and es-tablishing a strong internally-focused practice as this is what will be most useful during the childbirth experience.
Beginners Yoga 12 Week Course
This 12 week course offers a complete introduction to the postures, salutations, pranayamas (breath work) and relaxation practices of the Hatha Yoga tradition. The practical learning will be supported by an introduction to the philosophy which underpins the practice. Each practitioner is unique so Nadia will ensure that every body receives the necessary instruction they need to unlock each posture and expereince its benefits. Nadia’s approach is mindful so students will be encouraged to practice in this way from the ontset.
Mindful Birthing 8 Week Course
This eight week course brings together a very practical and body-centererd birth preparation programme, honed over ten years of teaching, with eight essential Mindfulness lessons and practices to offer a complete Mind and Body Birth Preparation programme. This course is ideal for women between 25-36 weeks.
