Magnetic Mums Circle – Co-sleeping versus sleep-training and the hinterland in between

IS THERE A CASE FOR SLEEP TRAINING IN THE WORLD OF ATTACHMENT PARENTING?

There has been a lot of commentary across ours and other sites from AP mums tip=toeing around certain sleep-training practices. I say tip-toe, becuase the word is often regarded as a dirty one in the AP world.
As I find myself also training my 3 year old son to stop night-time feeding using rewards I am intrigued to explore the point where these opposite philosophys and approaches converge.
Therefore with open-minded and non-judgemental participation – the hallmark approach of the Magnetic Mothers Circle – we will explore the hinterland between these two polarities and look at the many and varied ways in which Mothers of 1, 2 and 3 year olds navigate the co-sleeping / night-feeding situation, including looking at some of the more gentle sleep training methods and also why and how night-time parenting is drawn to a close.

We will be joined by Sandra Pearce of Northcote Baby who alongside baby massage and baby yoga specialises in sleep training.

This event is FREE and OPEN to any Mothers who are co-sleeping part of the night with their baby or child.

If you are struggling with night-time parenting; If you have explored sleep training, or if you have stopped night-time feeding and or co-sleeping please come and share your experience with us.
