This 8-week Online Pregnancy Yoga Chakra Course brings the powerful and ancient wisdom of the chakras to the special state of Pregnancy. During this transformative time, discovering these centres of intelligence and information within you can connect you with your feminine essence, bring about spiritual transformation and provide you will all the inner resources you need to embrace the incredible pregnancy, childbirth and new motherhood experience.

Pregnancy Yoga is a beautiful, visceral and authentically female practice that uses the postures and physical movement work as gateways to the deeper experience of Yoga; a dissolution of unconscious self-control replaced with conscious connection and expanded thought-free awareness. Along the way the whole body-mind system is deeply nourished, the heart centre is activated and we discover an inner strength and power we never knew we had. It is truly an ancient and complete system of self-development and self-awakening.

When women practice yoga with confidence, they trust their bodies, connect with their babies, they birth faster, in more comfort and more effectively. (Rong et al 2020).

This exciting new online pregnancy yoga chakra course is born out of a need to deepen the transmission of yoga and connect more deeply with students especially in the online realm and during these times of uncertainty and anxiety.

The 8 Week Online Pregnancy Yoga Chakra Course is built on the inner foundations of the seven subtle energy centres known as the Chakras. These seven energetic centres of the body are believed to govern not only the physical body and its systems but also the behaviors, drives, and emotions that are associated with each center. Collectively, the yogis believe that their balance holds the key to our vibrant health and well-being and to our spiritual awakening. Understanding these energy centres and how they relate to the physical body enables a much deeper understanding of the experience of Yoga and of Pregnancy, Birth and Lactation.

Lesson Break-Down

(session 1)

 Muladara – Root and Support – Earth Element

Grounding – what it means to ground, how we embody this concept at the muscular level and as an experience. An introduction to mulabanda and the pelvic floor. Understanding the role and function of the lower pelvis in Pregnancy and Birth. Yoga to ground. Moving from the ground up.  Yoga to activate the lower Pelvis.

 (Session 2)

Svadisthana – The Sacral Chakra; Water Element

An honouring of the Feminine Sexual center – Exploring Sexual Power, Fear and Trust. The Creative Centre – establishing a Creative Flow. (Spirals and Circles.) Womb Yoga and Energising and Supporting the Pelvic Bowl.

(Session 3)

Manipura  -The Navel Chakra – Fire Element

Mother/Baby Connection, Honouring the self and Birthing the Warrior,  – Establishing Your Power Centre – Stability During Pregnancy.

(Session 4)

 Anahata – Heart Chakra – Air

Entering the Centre – Heart Yoga, Self-Nurture, Love Hormones and Breastfeeding

 (Session 5)

Vishuddhi – Throat Chakra – Space

The Yoga of Sound, The Throat and the Pelvis,  Sound in Movement and in Stillness. Speaking your truth and articulating your needs.

(Session 6)

Ajna Chakra – the ‘Command’ Centre

Full Body, Clear Mind: Clearing Mental Clutter, Meditation and Birth Visioning.

 (Session 7)

Sahasrara – A Thousand Petals

The Pregnant Pause and the Sacred Space. 

From Movement to Stillness.

 (Session 8)

Week 8: Birthing a Potent Practice – Intention, Attention and Connection.

Each session will feature creative sequencing, breathwork, and either Yoga Nidra or Meditation.

At the end of this course, you will have a deep understanding of the practices of yoga adapted for pregnancy, the origins of female yoga, as well as accessed a tonne of traditional and modern evidence-based birthing wisdom. You will be ready to birth consciously, with trust in the process and in your own power. That is my wish for you.

6.30 pm-7:45pm (GMT) (15 minutes of each class will be reserved for questions.)

Access to the recording of the complete session will be possible for those that cannot join the live classes.

Single Lesson: £15 per session.



You are encouraged to join the full course if possible. In this way, you get the most benefit from the learning and commit to the journey and I get committed students.

Partial attendance will also be available for those whose EDD comes before the end of the course.

Previous Class Recordings can also be made available for those who join the course late.

About Your Teacher

Nadia is a YAP registered Senior Teacher. She has practiced Yoga for 18 years and taught for 15. She has trained with Birthlight, YogaBirth, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, the British Wheel of Yoga, Spinning Babies, Dancing for Birth, Michel Odent, and many more international teachers bedsides.. She has completed a Sivananda teacher Training and a Teacher Training in Yoga Nidra with Satyananda School of Yoga and Swami Pragyamurthu. She has been taught meditation by Ajhan Sumedo at Amaravati Monastery, deepened her practice with the Shambala Centre and has completed many other courses and training in meditation and mindfulness with the British Wheel of Yoga, Kay Baxter, Sally Kempton and Rupert Spira.

Committed to deepening her own practice on all levels she has studied Yin Yoga more recently with US-based teacher Cyndi Lee, and Norman Blair, and practiced with Susanne Lahusen, Alan Lowen and joined the Embodied Philosophy Program.

Nadia is a trained and Doula-UK approved Birth Doula and has attended over 50 births over a period of 12 years and has supported every type of birth experience. She is the author and producer of Yoga & Mindfulness for Pregnancy and Birth – a five-class DVD program which has sold just under 1000 copies and the author and teacher of her signature 12 week Yoga & Mindfulness for Pregnancy & Birth Course .

A former journalist, Nadia also writes on Pregnancy, Birth, and Yoga for various blogs and publications including Mumfidential, My Baba and Juno Magazine.

Nadia is passionate about offering women the opportunity to use the radical physical transformation of pregnancy as a portal to an equally radical inner transformation and inner preparation for the incredible experience of childbirth and becoming a mother.
