Pregnancy Yoga with Nadia

(LIVESTREAM & RECORDED)

Tuesday Evenings, 7pm-8.30pm Zoom

Yoga is an ancient and complete system of self-development and self-awakening that when harnessed by the feminine in pregnancy becomes potent and deeply supportive.

This new livestream weekly pregnancy yoga class is born out of a need to offer a constant and regular open Pregnancy class to the online pregnant community.

Nadia’s Pregnancy Yoga Classes are built on the inner foundations of the seven subtle energy centres known as the Chakras. These seven energetic centres of the body are believed to govern not only the physical body and its systems but also the behaviors, drives, and emotions that are associated with each center. Collectively, the yogis believe that their balance holds the key to our vibrant health and well-being and to our spiritual awakening. Understanding these energy centres and how they relate to the physical body enables a much deeper understanding of the experience of Yoga and of Pregnancy, Birth and Lactation.

Each 90 minute class features pregnancy flow yoga, accompanied by mudra, pranayama for pregnancy, nada yoga and meditation/Yoga Nidra.

When women practice yoga with confidence, they trust their bodies, connect with their babies, they birth faster, in more comfort and more effectively. (Rong et al 2020).

If you would like to join this group, please email Nadia@nadiaraafat.com

What Others Have Said About these Classes:

“Thank you so much for the wonderful classes, they gave me a sense of focus over the past 8 weeks. “ EM

“I loved these classes, what a wonderful experience and sangha you created, via zoom no less. It was nurturing and nourishing and wonderful to connect with other expectant mamas in these strange times. I feel much more confidentand I really noticed the shift from trepidation to excitement for my upcoming birth growing each week of the course. The penultimate class on the third eye with all of the breath work and meditation ushered me into experiencing a real sense of calm and readiness for motherhood and birth.”

Thank you so much for your offerings! I was so happy to be on your maternity chakra course, it was such an intimate and empowering space, and I really had the feeling that all of your teachings and practices came from your heart <3″
